Designed in 1962 by Harold Holdcroft, Royal Albert's Old Country Roses has become one of the most popular china patterns in the company's century-long history. The sumptuous design is enhanced by the pieces’ sophisticated shape, graceful floral ornamentation, and rich feminine colors, with a style and elegance that are uniquely English.

The crisp whiteness of the tea cup and saucer gracefully showcase the country roses in shades of pink and soft yellow. Set on a bed of greenery, the delicate flowers resemble those growing in a classic English garden. A fluted pattern and hand-trimmed border in 22-carat gold decorate both pieces of the set, and completes the romantic design. The saucer measures 5-1/2 inches in diameter, while the tea cup holds 6-1/2 ounces and is adorned with an ornately arched handle.
